The CER 2000 is available in 24- and 48-port 1 Gigabit Ethernet copper and hybrid fibre configurations with four or two optional 10 GbE up link ports. To help ensure high performance, all the ports are capable of forwarding IP and MPLS packets at wire speed without over subscription. With less than 5 watts/Gbps of power consumption, service providers can push up to 136 Gbps of business or residential Carrier Ethernet services through the CER 2000 while reducing their carbon footprint.
